alright guys. sorry for not updating in so long. so the big news of the week is that i spent last weekend in melbourne!! it was fun! i drank way too much and spent way way too much money. (didnt get drunk though...drat). yeah thanks to suba and ting for making my trip as great as it was. i am now deeply and passionately in love with bridge road. its a shopaholics heaven! dont even get me started on lygon street. so much food!! and the roche gelati at il dolce freddo is well worth a plane ticket from singapore to melbourne. trust me on that one! and pei! i'll be coming to melbourne when you come down! yay! im looking forward to it!
but even though i had a great time in melbourne, im so happy to be back home in canberra. living out of a suitcase, (or backpack in my case) just screws me up. and i just have to have my own personal space. and just so that the whole world knows, SUBA SNORES!! mwahahahah.....
im going to cairns for my mid sem break. looking forward to that, though i suspect my friend who's planning the trip intends to make us all not shower for a few days. *shudder*
me and my friends in my hall did an incredibly stupid thing yesterday. we decided we would celebrate all our un-birthdays with a potluck desert night. the theme? chocolate of course! what else? so there were 2 chocolate cakes, chocolate fudge brownies, chocolate mousse, a chocolate cookie roll, a chocolate fruit basket, chocolate pancakes and baked apples in chocolate sauce. and vanilla ice cream. after about half an hour of stuffing ourselves silly with chocolate, we were all sitting there groaning in pain. way way way too much chocolate! and we had quite a bit left over, we were literally begging random strangers to take our chocolate! there was also alot of chocolate sauce left over, a full bowls worth. at that moment in time, the very sight of it made me want to hurl. being the maniacs we are of course, we dared a guy to scull the whole bowl of chocolate sauce. hahahha it was hilarious!! we all laughed so hard we nearly puked! of course most of us already felt like puking anyway. hahahha.... but it was so much fun. and all that glorious chocolate. ahhh....and so when people ask me why i dont want to move off-campus, i remember moments like last night. mmmm....
