Just when you thought I'd abandoned this blog again. Hah. Well, I've just been far too lazy to blog. Anyway, much has happened! I went back to Singapore, I died from the heat, I returned to Canberra from Singapore, I nearly froze to death, I read the Harry Potter book from cover to cover. And we're all caught up. Haha. My trip to sg was great. Thank you to everyone who made it so much more fun than the last time. Thank you Adel, Pei, Ting and Mel (and blue whale) for celebrating my birthday for me. That was really sweet of you guys! Although there's a space of about 5 mins that i dont remember that night...hmmm. Must've blocked out some kind of traumatic memory. Uma and Suba, it was fantastic hanging with you bums again. Sigh. It sucks that I missed JM again. bah. Looks like the next time we'll all be able to get together will be when Uma gets married!! Hehe, you know what I realised? Even though Uma has changed a whole lot from the silly girl she was in RGS, we were definitely right about one thing. She was always going to be the one to get married first. Mwaahahaa.
I'm not turning this place into any sort of discussion about the Harry Potter book. I've read it, I liked it and thats it. What I will say is that I nearly missed out on getting the book yesterday morning!! I hadn't preordered the book, but thats not usually a problem since bookstores anticipate hundreds of people to just walk in an buy it. So there I am, 12th in the line in front of the store and the bookshop guy steps out and says anyone who didn't preorder, don't bother lining up, there arent any extras. EEEKSSS!!!! Panic! After quick consultation with the guy behind me in the line (who had preordered) I ran to the back door of the bookshop and had a chat to the store manager. Basically I pleaded and pouted my way into the ONLY spare copy they had. Mwahahahha...who knew I had such powers of persuasion eh? Now, to take over the world!!
In other news, Canberra is so effing cold!! argh!!! I'm freezing my ass off. Which pretty much translates into me not wanting to get up in the morning to go to class or to work or to pretty much do anything at all. Not good. My social life has finally died because I will not leave the house at night, it's simply far too cold. But that's ok. Watching hindi movies with Nathan is fun. I can't get over how much he loves it! I'm sure I've said this before, but the boy wants to be Shah Rukh Khan. It's so hilarious! He's slowly getting better at the dance moves but its so side splittingly funny when he sings because he doesnt know the words and he definitely doesnt know any hindi, so he just sorta makes up funny sounds as he goes along. Unfortunately, he wont let me anywhere near him with a videcamera. Bleh.
